My Blog's Origin Story
Hello, Hello, Hello! This is Al Amin. Welcome to my pet blog website. In my childhood, I didn’t care much about animals. I didn’t have strong emotions towards them. But one scenario changed my perspective, making me fall in love with animals. I’d like to share this story with my lovely visitors who are also warm-hearted pet lovers.
I grew up in Bangladesh, a homeland where people have a lot of emotions for all kinds of pets, especially cats and birds. However, I used to catch birds by trapping them, like herons and white-breasted waterhens. Not only that, I would also catch baby birds from their nests at the top of trees. Fortunately, I found two beautiful twin parrots (Payra and Tayra), who became my first love. I dedicated myself to taking care of them. I even taught them how to talk. After two years, they would call my name, and most interestingly, when guests came to our house, Payra would start calling me. When I wasn’t home, he would tell the guests, “Al Amin is not at home.” It was so funny! My life was filled with joy because of those parrots.
Now, for the sad part: one day, while I was out of the city, I suddenly heard terrible news. Tayra had an accident with a motorbike and died on the spot. I was devastated and felt like I had lost everything. I didn’t eat for almost three days and just kept crying. From that day, I realized the power of loving animals. Slowly, I started feeling a deep love for all kinds of animals, understanding their thoughts, choices, behaviors, and pain. I immediately stopped trapping birds and began caring for other animals. I became so engrossed in animals that I almost forgot about myself. Gradually, I learned what animals like and what matters to them. That’s how I became an animal lover. My goal now is to care for all animals worldwide, to secure their well-being, and to ensure their rights.
I have started working on this project in my home country. The idea for this blog came from a friend who suggested writing about animal care to provide complete guidance and to raise awareness, especially among pet lovers. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, cows, goats, and rabbits. However, I currently live outside my country for higher studies.
It’s true that I don’t have any pets in my room where I live now, but my sister takes care of four cats that she loves, and my father looks after a couple of cows and goats. We are now a pet-loving family. Isn’t that interesting?
